The file upload component is used to select and upload files. This uploading interface can be supplemented by additional resources such as the File upload status to monitor the progress and offer additional interaction such as removing files once uploaded
Do's
- allow users to upload a file in the commonly accepted formats
Don'ts
- don't limit the file upload size or type, unless specifically mentioned in the file requirements
When to use
- use when users are asked to upload one or multiple files that are necessary to completing current task (e.g. Grants & funding applications)
